Come join us as FAN participates in the Sacramento celebration of Earth Day 2010. This should be a very fun event with 7000 participants expected this year! Many will be inclined to have a favorable outlook toward respect and care of our earth and environment. We are an organization of people who support a naturalist world view without resort to supernatural explanations. We evolved from nature, we are part of nature and we are dependent on nature for our continued existence, with mankind being part of a complex web of life. It is always a talk-till-you-drop affair, with more people coming by the booth than you have voice to communicate with. It is always very uplifting to interact with many like minded people who are very open to our ideas. Wear your freethought, atheist, humanist, bright, skeptic or earth/nature related buttons, shirts, hats to identify us as naturalists. This is the best opportunity for us to promote our thinking and our presence as a movement in society to the general world any time of the year. We will be talking to people, handing out literature, with a signup sheet for anyone who is interested in joining our organization or participating in any of our events. sacramentoearthday.net
