CADA (the Capitol Area Development Authority) along with the City of Sacramento and Friends of Fremont Park will launch their third annual Movie in Fremont Park on Friday, August 20, 2010.  This annual viewing of outdoor movies is free to the public and includes festivities for children.  CADA hosts this family-friendly summer event in celebration of the Capitol Park Neighborhood.

The event starts at 5:30 p.m. with the Disney/Pixar movie “Up” beginning at dusk (anticipated to be at 7:45 p.m.).  Come out early to enjoy pre-movie activities such as Mimo the Clown’s balloon art, face painting, live music and hot dogs for the first few hundred people.  There will be plenty of photo opportunities so don’t forget your camera!  Parking is limited so we do encourage families to walk or ride to the event.
