Description:

t gives us great pleasure to introduce you to a very important film arts event, The Sacramento International Film Festival.

The Sacramento Film Festival (TM) is Sacramento's only premiere film arts showcase.

We accept only SACRAMENTO PREMIERES, meaning films which have not previously played in our area. Filmmakers enjoy the Festival for its exceptional hospitality and its commitment to visionary artists. With enthusiastic audiences and beautiful venues including historic Tower and Crest Theaters, the Sacramento International Film Festival offers a fantastic way to premiere a film in the Capital of California. Plus, as the region's only all Cinema event, the Festival can gain much publicity for a film opening.

Don't be confused by similar names or marketing slogans. The Sacramento Film Festival (TM) is the only Capital area Film Event to have featured exclusive Hollywood talent including: American Icon Michael Madsen (Reservoir Dogs, Kill Bill), Actor/Director Louis Mandylor (My Big Fat Greek Wedding), Two time Academy Award winner for best picture John Daly (Platoon, The Last Emperor), Pixar Producer, John Walker ( The Incredibles, Ratatouille), William Morris executive Chris Lockhart, UCLA Screenwriting Dean Lew Hunter, Director Vicky Jenson (Shrek, A Shark's Tale) and a host of industry luminaries.

Our goal is to blend the worlds of international, independent, local and Hollywood cinema that all may learn, grow and celebrate the craft of filmmaking. The Festival is proud to offer this first class event in celebration of artists and their craft.
