The Delta King Hotel in Sacramento is far more than your ordinary hotel. This classic-style riverboat offers 3-diamond suites alongside two fine restaurants, two dinner theaters, a wine school and event facilities-- all on the Sacramento River.

The Delta King's red paddle wheel is a true icon to the city of Sacramento. The white vessel is majestic while still remaining humble, reminiscent of a time when life was a bit simpler. The storybook likeness of the great boat almost seems to transcend an era; it's classic decor never falling victim to ever-changing trends.

The Pilothouse is one of the Delta's premier restaurants, boasting an upscale feel and fine food prepared by persnickety chef Julian Vasquez. White tablecloths, candlelight and wine make Pilothouse a perfect choice for a romantic dinner date with a loved one. Patrons receive a three course meal for just $29 at the Pilothouse. Items like shrimp and Andouille sausage rotini, red wine braised chicken, smoked gouda risotto and New York strip steak are available.

The Delta Grill and Bar, which features more casual fair in a laid-back atmosphere, is perfect for enjoying sunsets with friends or loved ones. Items like oysters Rockefeller, juicy burgers, pulled pork sliders, fish and chips and grilled chicken sandwiches all make appearances on the Grill and Bar menu.

The Suspects Mystery Dinner, which combines a live "whodunnit" interactive play with a delicious meal. Patrons become part of the play, deciding who killed the victim amongst themselves an array of talented professional actors.

Live shows are also available on the Capitol Stage, a small live theater in an intimate setting. Live shows put the audience up close to the action.

The Delta Wine School, which teaches patrons the art of tasting, varietal identification and food pairing techniques, is also an interesting way to spend your time aboard the Delta King.
